Peppermint essential oil is definitely among the most popular and versatile essential oils deserving a place in your essential oils kit.

Its powerful freshness is recommended for many occasions - especially to help against nausea by blending it with a carrier oil and massaging your belly area clockwise. It can also drive away mental fatigue and migraines for its freshly cooling feel.

After a workout, peppermint is a great oil to add inside your body oil to relieve and restore sore muscles.

Caution: Peppermint essential oil has a cooling effect on the body and in some cases can lower the blood pressure. Best not to be used on infants or children under 2 years old. If taking iron supplements, allow at least three hours between the intake of the supplement and the use of Peppermint essential oil, as this last one could reduce the absorption of iron when taken simultaneously.

Usage 

To use within a diffuser, place up to 8 drops in the water-filled compartment.

To incorporate in topical forms of skincare and haircare (moisturisers, shampoos,  face creams) place up to 5 drops in every 30ml of carrier oil or lotion.
